For the past few weeks, I have been encountering a lot of trouble in my life. Without realizing it, I made a lot of things happened rather quickly. In the nutshell I became 150% more productive. Normally, I always procrastinate any ideas / tasks that come into my mind. After distracted by so many news, pop-up, blogs, including medium updates, I suddenly forgot what I supposed to do. I thought It only happens to me. But, it does happen to everyone these days. With the immerse of internet with full of information that travels faster than the speed of light, it is very highly likely to be distracted and then forgets what we suppose to do.
Luckily, it did not happen to me for the past few weeks, since I had a lot of trouble and frustration over my life. It does happen to me when I do not have any control over my life, my decision, and my next step in life. When it seems that no matter what I do, I will always end up at the same shitty place again and again.

Anyway, I’ve realized that I became less distracted towards any information or pop-up that appeared suddenly on the screen of my mobile phone or laptop, when I was angry. Anger really makes you focus on one thing. Some experts say that the anger is the fuel to success. However, the anger also at the same time block your creativity too since it releases different type of hormone. However, for certain tasks that do not involve creativity but needed persistence and endurance, the feeling of anger could be one of the best thing in life that keep you doing what you’re doing. That’s what we call it motivation out of life.
When we get angry, the heart rate, arterial tension and testosterone production increases, cortisol (the stress hormone) decreases, and the left hemisphere of the brain becomes more stimulated. This is indicated by a new investigation lead by scientists from the University of Valencia (UV) that analyses the changes in the brain’s cardiovascular, hormonal and asymmetric activation response when we get angry.
However, not all emotions behave in accordance with this connection. “The case of anger is unique because it is experienced as negative but, often, it evokes a motivation of closeness,” the expert explains.
This anger emotion also increases the motivation and determination towards your goal. So, next time if you want to procrastinate or don’t feel like to do anything, just remember things that make you angry. It will stimulate your brain activity to make you feel more motivated and determined. At the end of the day, it will make you more productive to pursue your biggest goal that you always want to achieve but always does not have quite good motivation to start doing it. The more angry you are, the more productive you’ll become!
Stop Procrastinating! Be angry … be motivated so that you become more productive in pursuing your goal!
